Tonya Gross Millinery was founded in 2006.

Tonya is an award-winning accessories designer and the former fashion director for the City of Chicago, executive producer of Chicago’s Fashion Week, Covet Markets, and Shop Small Chicago. She is a long-time advocate for creative businesses and manufacturing initiatives through her work with creative institutions, non-profits, emerging brands, and local media.

Tonya utilizes her background in finance, marketing, customer service, project and program management—and years of millinery practice—to deliver well-crafted, imaginative designs and a great customer experience.

Tonya’s work is inspired by art, nature, and music and uses traditional millinery methods and non-traditional materials to create one-of-a-kind hats and other wearables for clients and collections.
